Photography is the vessel I use to justify exploring new places, and telling stories. I love all the work that goes into creating interesting images. Whether it's driving a car to get a photo of an interesting location, or collaborating with someone to work together to make an interesting portrait. I find the process just as rewarding as the end result.
I progressively discovered my love photography along with my love of travel. With each trip I found myself spending more and more time focusing on the photos than restaurants or attractions. Progressively the more places I traveled, the more the planning shifted focus onto what I could photograph. Slowly I began to realize I was planning my trips more for the possible photos than anything else.

My interest in portrait and editorial work grew out of my love of landscapes. It added a human drama to the story that I found incredibly immersive. I've since grown to love the collaborative process required to achieve an end result. I'm equally proud of the friendships both created, or grown with people simply from spending time taking photos together.
Photography is my favourite way to spend time watching the sun slip away for the day.
